Mr. Hamman received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983 from St. Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois. In pursuit of his degree, Mr. Hamman attended six other colleges and universities in three different states, including Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, while working as a sales representative. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1987 from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyer's Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association and the South Suburban Bar Association.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hamman practiced with a law firm that specialized in Insurance Defense. His experience on the defense side of cases has been of considerable value to him in determining optimum strategies for settlement of cases or in preparation for trial. He now concentrates almost exclusively in representing injured parties in personal injury and workers' compensation claims. He is active in the Workers' Compensation Bar.
